Uses |
Used as a purification liquid for removal of carbon dioxide or hydrogen sulfide in gases. Esters formed by triethanolamine and higher fatty acids are widely used as detergents, emulsifiers, wetting agents and lubricants as well as for the preparation of cosmetic balsams. Triethanolamine can also be used as a preservative, waterproofing agent, analytical agent, solvent, etc. |
