Mainly used as a raw materials for organophosphorus pesticides in the production of phosphate esters includingdiphenyl isooctyl phosphate, triethyl phosphate, etc., as well as plasticizers; in medicine, it is used for the chlorination of long-acting sulfonamides; in fine chemical industry, it is used for the production of dyes intermediates, as a chlorinating agent and catalyst in organic synthesis and as a uranium extraction agent. |
