Uses |
It is an important organic synthetic raw materials for production of epoxy resin, polycarbonate, organic glass, medicine and pesticides. It is a good solvent, as well as a thinner, cleaning agent and extraction solvent. It is an important raw material for production of acetic anhydride, diacetone alcohol, chloroform, iodoform, epoxy resin, polyisoprene rubber, methyl methacrylate, etc. It is used as a solvent in smokeless powder, celluloid, cellulose acetate, paint and some other industries and as an extraction solvent in the oil industry. |
