Properties |
Diammonium phosphate, also named as diammonium hydrogen phosphate (DAP), is a fertilizer containing two nutrients, i.e., nitrogen and phosphorus. Gray or dark gray particles with a specific gravity of 1.619, soluble in water and insoluble in ethanol. It has a certain degree of moisture absorptivity, tends to decompose in moist air and volatilizes and gives off ammonia to form ammonium dihydrogen phosphate. Its aqueous solution is slightly alkaline, pH 8.0. |
